Ellun Kanat Ranked First in Comms Industry Image Survey
Recent communications industry research by Taloustutkimus (market research company) crowns Ellun Kanat the best comms agency in terms of company image in Finland. The top spot yields from fresh insight and a plucky attitude toward change.
Communications managers’ and experts’ views of the comms industry were researched in a study on the image of various communications agencies.
The study evaluated agencies according to brand awareness, agency selection criteria and readiness to collaborate. Ellun Kanat was the best and most recognized agency overall.
“We aspire to be the most insightful partner in change for our clients, and communication is a powerful way to achieve that. We’re delighted to see the hard work pay off!” says Taru Tujunen, CEO of Ellun Kanat.
Ellun Kanat is perceived as a creative, insightful and up-to-speed agency that provides outcome-oriented communications services.
“Fast-paced changes are happening in every industry – we’ve focused on updating our insights and incorporating communications into the core of all change. This shows in our results,” Taru Tujunen rejoices.

Ellun Kanat Chairman of the board, VC and professional board member Mika Sutinen joins in on the celebration: “In my line of work, I see a broad range of industries develop and change. I’d say that 70 % of organisational change boils down to communications and this percentage will continue to increase in the future.”
The candid comms work and Ellun Kanat’s mission to battle through change alongside customers seems to be working. “These results are especially important in terms of the future. The objective of the study was to gauge agencies’ brand awareness, their know-how, company image factors, and near-future developments in the industry,” Taru Tujunen points out.
Potential participants for this study were recruited by phone and willing respondents were emailed a research form link. Phone recruiting and online surveys were performed from May to June 2021. The study’s target group was comms managers and experts in diverse fields. 591 respondents from different companies participated in the study. Respondents evaluated companies based on either their experience or their conception of the firm in question.
